A Manufacturing Technician is required to join our team in a busy production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with engineering principles and be able to maintain detailed knowledge of the production process and equipment.
The successful candidate will participate in introducing new parts including equipment, tooling, and procedures. They will also identify opportunities to improve yield or manufacturing efficiency, instigate continuous improvement activities, respond to line stops by taking timely action for restart production, update and maintain manufacturing documentation such as operator instructions and inspection standards, assist commissioning validation of new equipment, and conduct 8D investigations for either external or internal non-conformity.
We are seeking a motivated individual who possesses HNC/HND in an engineering/science/technical discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience (desirable), a strong interest in mechanical, electronic, or production engineering, IT skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to build relationships and work effectively as part of a team or on their own initiative. A keen willingness to learn new skills and a technical bias that demonstrates company values are essential.
In terms of benefits, shift enhancements are offered: Mon - Thurs: 17.57%, Fri: 16.21%; hours are early and late. Available roles depend on skill level.
