We are seeking a skilled CNC machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machining centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set machines and prove out programs to enable the smooth running of production batches.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in finished parts.
Achieving this role requires:
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings, along with competency in inspecting machined parts.
- No less than time served or level 3 engineering qualification at pass grade (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated proficiency in finishing on milling machines is required, alongside working knowledge of Heidenhain or Siemens controls.
- Experience with Vericut software is desirable as well as programming skills within Mastercam or similar CAM Software.
This position operates during standard business hours (Monday β Thursday: 8:30 am - 5 pm and Friday: 8:30 am β 4 pm). A willingness to work flexible shifts after training period would also be beneficial.
