Job Overview\\We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. As a key member of our operation, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the UK.\\About the Role\\This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. You will be based at our Heathrow site and will be required to maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.\\Key Responsibilities\\\\Safely operate HGV vehicles to transport goods across the UK\\Maintain accurate electronic logs to track routes and deliveries\\Conduct daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify the transport manager of any issues\\Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner\\Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends\\Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations\\Collaborate with other drivers and members of the logistics team to achieve operational goals\\Perform other duties as required by the transport manager\\\\:ul>\\Requirements\\To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid commercial driving license with the correct categories (C and C+E) and have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). You must also pass a background check and hold a Digital Tachograph/Smart Card.
