Job Role:
As a logistics professional, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods between regional distribution centres with no handball, averaging 3 swaps per shift, working with box trailers both single and double deckers.
The role involves driving, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating positively with other team members to achieve common goals.
Key Performance Indicators include ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed to ensure roadworthiness and safety, arriving on time, and informing the traffic office of any issues.
Additionally, you will be expected to follow all company procedures, customer procedures, and the Highway Code, maintain health and safety standards, complete deliveries and collections as manifested, comply with tachograph and WTD regulations, and keep your vehicle clean and tidy.
Requirements:
- Valid C+E Class 1 license with six or fewer penalty points and no DD, DR, or IN endorsements
- Driver CPC card with no current suspension or revocation
- UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Right to work in the UK
- English language skills for safety
- Willingness to undergo a Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test
- One year driving experience preferred
