As a lifeguard at one of our water parks, you will be responsible for creating safe havens for swimmers to enjoy the thrill of being in the water. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring pool safety by monitoring swimming areas
- Responding promptly to emergencies with first aid as needed
- Carefully enforcing facility rules
- Maintaining cleanliness around pools
- Providing excellent customer service with any inquiries or concerns
You must have current NPLQ certification (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification), proficiency in swimming skills demonstrated throughout this role, sharp observation and decision-making abilities during times when situations may become emergent, thus requiring quick thinking which results in the best outcomes under pressure, along with a friendly approachable attitude and good communication skills. Availability for flexible hours, weekends, and holidays is required. An enhanced DBS check is also required.
