This leadership role offers a chance to manage and lead an in-house conveyancing team providing timely and efficient quality services for plot sales, part exchange, and other related transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire and motivate the Conveyancing Team ensuring they deliver high-quality results while continually reviewing resources within the Department.
- Transactional work includes preparation of legal packs, infrastructure agreements with utility companies, land transfers/easements, surplus land sales, freehold reversions, sale management agreements, land transfers, lease extensions, deeds of covenant, and deeds of rectification.
- Proactively provide preventative pragmatic legal advice and attend meetings with business units enabling the production of legal documentation/sales packs for new developments.
- Coordinate regular Build/Sales Forecast meetings and report on contract exchange progress towards achieving targets.
- Guide staff training commensurate with their role and monitor compliance with internal operating policies/procedures.
- Maintain professional standards and promote integral Company operations, facilitating policy best practices.
- Proactively seek innovative solutions to effectively address organisational changes and challenges.
- Enhance productivity, systems consistency, efficiency, teamwork, dynamic adaptability, and growth/responsibility.
- Foster encouraging excellence and authentic roles that engage creativity and celebrate collective team achievements.
