Head of Direct Banking Operations
This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations of our direct banking division, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency and compliance across all outsourced partnerships. The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing team, manage critical third-party relationships and drive operational excellence to support customers and business objectives. This senior management position requires a strong blend of leadership, operational expertise and supplier management skills with a focus on continuous improvement innovation. We are seeking an experienced leader who can establish robust governance frameworks, monitor performance against contractual obligations, and ensure outsourced partners deliver consistently agreed standards while mitigating risks. Experience in managing intra-group service relationships is also essential.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the regulatory regime applicable to UK savings operations including PRA, FCA requirements, and the Consumer Duty framework, demonstrating the ability to implement and maintain effective oversight frameworks ensuring compliance, protecting customer interests, and safeguarding the organisation from breaches.
