We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our maintenance team. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, upkeep, and overall appearance of outdoor areas. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping and be able to operate and maintain various tools and machinery.
About The Role:
- Maintain gardens, lawns, sports fields, and other green spaces.
- Perform physical labour including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, maintaining plant beds, planting, watering flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
- Mulching, weeding, pruning, sweeping, blowing, and removing debris from walkways, car parks, and public spaces.
- Maintaining and repairing irrigation systems.
- Assisting with pest control.
- Ensuring proper disposal of yard waste and debris.
- Following safety guidelines and regulations.
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
- Inspecting and repairing outdoor fixtures.
- Assisting with seasonal landscaping tasks.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
