The company is looking for an experienced Automation and Control Engineer to work at their Swindon Sewage Treatment Works. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, fault diagnosing, testing, installing, modifying or repairing SCADA systems and associated instrumentation control equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing, commissioning, maintenance and repairs of water production assets including level instrumentation, flow meters, turbidity monitors.
  • Working with technology including SCADA systems, PLCs, process control networks.
  • Investigating asset failures and implementing subsequent repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the water supply process.
