We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Intermediate level engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design of building services systems from concept through to delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing electrical building services including power, lighting, small power, fire alarm and security systems.
  • Producing calculations, specifications, drawings, technical reports, and documentation.
  • Conducting software updates, audits, quality control, certification, compliance testing, and commissioning.
  • Implementing maintenance procedures and knowledge sharing best practices.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Experience working as an electrical design engineer within building services in the UK.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulations and design standards.
  • Able to work collaboratively with mechanical engineers, architects, and external consultants.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confident using industry software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux, and AutoCAD.
  • Ambition to progress towards Chartered Engineer status (IEng, CEng).
