We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs across Key Stage 3 and 4.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. You will work closely with teachers, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), and pastoral staff to develop individualised plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN in lessons, interventions, and one-to-one sessions;
- Helping pupils regulate their behaviour, remain engaged, and access learning effectively;
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SEN Coordinator, and pastoral staff to support EHCPs (Educational Health Care Plans) and individual plans;
- Building strong trusting relationships with students and acting as a consistent positive role model.
