This leadership role is a key position within our Electro-Mechanical Underwater Robotics Business. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the process, team, and overall results across the assembly and repairs area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direction, instructions, and guidance to the manufacturing team ensuring operations are conducted safely and efficiently while maintaining cost and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- To oversee the entire Assembly, Repair, and Testing Process for Electro-Mechanical assemblies with a focus on performance optimization.
- To lead process improvement initiatives by identifying critical success factors managing deviations requests effectively adhering strictly to procedures that maintain high-quality outputs.
- Responsible for reporting progress status updates consistently communicating them clearly to management and peers alike, exceeding expectations thereby elevating operational efficiency.
The successful applicant must demonstrate expertise working in large scale production environments possessing skills in mechanical and electrical engineering. Their knowledge should include interpreting electro/mechanical/hydraulic schematics, conducting fault diagnostics, troubleshooting, guiding junior technicians and engineers, enhancing overall capabilities, performing board level inspections, and utilizing sophisticated problem-solving methodologies.
The selected individual should also possess strong communication and interpersonal qualities, able to fluently communicate complex technical information, accurately convey progress reports, and exercise active listening.
