We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and delivery on major water sector projects. Lead electrical design work in accordance with UK and industry standards. Possess strong experience in electrical design leadership, LV and HV systems, MCCs/switchgear, industrial/process installations, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX compliance.
As an experienced Electrical Design Leader you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our engineering team. You will have extensive knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) systems as well as Mechanical Control Centers (MCCs)/Switchgear. Your expertise should also include Hazard Operability studies (HAZOP), Earthing & Bonding among others.
You must hold Chartered status within your field. Ideally you would come from a Water industry background though candidates from Nuclear or Oil & Gas sectors may find this role appealing if they have transferable skills/similar experiences.
