At Loughborough University, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Through-life Engineering Specialist to join our vibrant community. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced post-doctoral engineer with significant robotic systems development experience.
About the Role: This fixed-term role will be recruited to either a Senior Research Fellow or Research Fellow depending on the pool of applicants. We are looking for someone who can develop autonomous robotic systems that can self-reconfigure or self-repair to minimize maintenance effort.
About You: You have extensive experience in designing experimental robotic system rigs in a laboratory setting. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as expertise in presenting data at regular reviews. You have a track record of publishing high-quality journal papers and contributing actively to research grant proposal development.
