CapEx Recruitment is partnering with a leading specialist provider of mechanical, electrical, control and automation solutions servicing major utilities and critical infrastructure markets. This role offers exposure to diverse technical challenges across utilities and infrastructure, working with cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated engineering design outputs from early concept through to commissioning support.
About The Job:
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support multidisciplinary design activities within high-value capital projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engineering solutions that meet project requirements. They will produce and coordinate 2D/3D models, create layouts, equipment specifications, schedules and calculations in addition to supporting engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role also involves contributing towards the preparation of design submissions for review and approvals, attending meetings as required, and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
