We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead product development projects from concept through to production, while driving continuous improvement and high-quality standards.
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end design and development of bespoke components, assemblies, and tooling solutions. You will translate customer requirements into robust engineering concepts, CAD models, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
You will oversee prototyping activities, design validation, and testing processes. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership to junior engineers and support cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and commercial teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering is required (or equivalent experience).
- Design Experience: 5+ years of experience in a design engineering role within manufacturing is necessary. Experience with plastics thermoforming polymer-based products is desirable but not essential.
