We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support the needs of a 9-year-old young man with cerebral palsy, global development delay, cerebral visual impairment and undiagnosed autism. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible and reliable, and have experience working with children or individuals with disabilities. They should also possess basic first aid knowledge and swimming proficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the child in daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assisting the child in navigating their surroundings using mobility aids if necessary.

Requirements:

  • 6 hours per week commitment (4 hours direct care/support for the individual and 2 hours cleaning/household duties).
