This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team as a skilled CNC Programmer. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machinery in accordance with engineers' drawings.
Responsibilities include:
- Downloading programmes into the machinery
- Loading proper cutting tools and mounting
- Installing, aligning & securing workpieces onto the machine
- Checking tools and materials for defects prior to commencing work
- Removing & replacing dull tools
- Calculating machine speed and feed ratios and the size and position of cuts
- Testing run machines and verifying parts to drawings
- Consulting with Quality Manager as required
- Continuing to inspect parts for quality throughout runs
