In this fast-paced role, you will lead comprehensive assessments to identify needs, support multi-agency partners, and conduct Section 47 child protection investigations. You will also be part of a duty rotation receiving referrals and developing intervention plans.
About the Role
As a Social Worker or Senior Practitioner in our Children\'s Assessment Service, you will make a significant impact on the lives of children and families. You will work with us to deliver evidence-based assessments that prioritize children\'s voices, promoting respectful and proportionate outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify needs and develop effective intervention plans.
- Lead Section 47 child protection investigations and provide expert advice to multi-agency partners.
- Develop strong relationships with children, young people, and families, providing empathetic support and guidance.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles, relevant legislation, and policy.
- Qualification as a social worker with current registration and completion of the ASYE (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting.
