We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a CAMHS practitioner in our intervention service, based in Chessington, Surrey. This is a locum position available immediately for an ongoing period of four months.
The role involves completing initial assessments of children and young people referred to the team. The post includes delivering psychological treatments and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to children and young people. This post entails screening patients for neurodiversity and making referrals to other services as appropriate, while working within a multi-disciplinary team. You will attend peer supervision meetings regularly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with experience at Band 7 level within mental health settings required.
- A proven track record in delivering advanced psychological assessments and interventions in CAMHS settings preferred.
