As a social worker, you will work in partnership with families and other professionals to assess needs, provide support, and develop plans for improvement. You will visit children at home or school, supporting parents through difficult circumstances and working collaboratively with teachers, health professionals, or police as needed. Your role will involve writing reports to help decide what is safest for each child.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, personal qualities such as empathy, resilience, judgement, stability, and progression ability, having an undergraduate honours degree (or international equivalent), GCSE English language grade C/4 or above, and approved equivalent qualification.
