We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Events Assistant to join our team. This role will provide essential administrative and operational support to the British Museum's Events team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative assistance, including managing RSVPs, preparing paperwork, and communicating with colleagues across departments.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and deliver Early Morning Views, overseeing invitations, staffing, briefings, on-the-day coordination, and guest management.
  • Customer Service: Support large-scale internal and external events by coordinating registration desks, liaising with colleagues, and assisting Event Managers.
  • Diary Management: Maintain a diary of upcoming events, handle bookings/approvals, process payments, take minutes, and act as key point of contact for general inquiries.
