We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Learning Mentor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or equivalent to utilise their excellent communication and interpersonal skills in supporting students' development, progress, and attainment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to coordinate and deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, under the professional direction of a qualified teacher. They will be responsible for planning, preparing, assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress. This role requires someone who is highly motivated and committed to making a positive impact on students' lives. The ideal candidate will have empathy towards students' needs while maintaining high expectations.

Duties:

  • Work with teachers to identify strategies that support student learning;
  • Support the line management of named Learning Mentors or small groups;
  • Develop expertise within areas of SEND determined as needs within the department;
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress;
