General Job Title: Senior Exposure Management Reporting Analyst - Regulatory Reporting
Division: Exposure Management
Reports To: As per Beazley’s organisation chart
Key Relationships: Exposure Management, Property Risk Underwriters, Pricing, Capital Modelling Team, Ceded RI Team
Job Summary: Assist the Reporting Lead in all Regulatory & internal reporting and provide effective Catastrophe reporting for Property Risks Exposure Management, including the maintenance of the Catastrophe Module of the internal model.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and assist in the reporting for external stakeholders and regulatory reporting such as Lloyd’s Realistic Disaster Scenario Returns (RDS)
- Manage annual Exposure Management calendar of internal & external returns
- Organising Regulatory Review Committee (RRC) meetings & papers for external regulatory returns that are subject to review & sign off by the RRC
- Co-ordinate and assist with Lloyd’s Europe Standard Formula Return
- Co-ordinate and provide support for Lloyd’s Capital Model (LCM) and Capital Planning Group (CPG) returns
- Co-ordinate and provide support for Lloyd’s ASR 251 Top 20 Risks return & Canadian B2 Regulatory Reporting
- Assist with the Lloyd’s Canada Earthquake Exposure Data Form
- Co-ordinate & provide support for the Lloyd’s Model Completeness Questionnaire (MCQ)
- Provide support for PRA General Insurance Stress Tests (GIST)
- Co-ordinate & assist with Terrorism returns such as Pool Re Annual Exposure Return & GAREAT returns
- Assist with the London Fire Brigade Return
- Co-ordinate & assist with internal cross class reporting such as China / Taiwan War RDS & Standard Formula SCR return
- Provide output for AM BEST, Fitch Returns and PRA Submissions
- Assist with monthly aggregate results for management reporting and for external regulatory returns using Moody’s RMS ExposureIQ
- Provide support for all other external regulatory reporting including any expansion to new governed territories
- Assist with ad hoc data requests
- Maintain all process documentation
- Interact with underwriting support functions, including data management, pricing, capital modelling, ceded reinsurance, claims, risk management and compliance.
- Provide SQL reporting assistance to Exposure Management Property Risks
Personal Specification
Education and Qualifications
- Educated to ‘A’ Level or equivalent
- Graduate with a degree from any discipline
- Minimum 4 years Moody’s RMS experience
Skills and Abilities
- Accurate and numerate with attention to detail
- Computer skills – good working knowledge of MS Office, advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing
