General Job Title: Property Risks Senior Catastrophe Analyst - Complex Risks
Division: Exposure Management

Key Relationships: Exposure Management, Property Risk Underwriters, Pricing, Capital Modelling Team, Ceded RI Team
Job Summary: Provide Natural Catastrophe Expertise to assist with complex modelling such as Parametric Reinsurance and Alternative Risk Transfer (ART), supporting Catastrophe Modelling Quoting, Bound risk entry and monthly portfolio roundup.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Actuarial Pricing to Provide Natural Catastrophe output and support for Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) quotes
- Provide Natural Catastrophe expertise support for maintaining appropriate tools to Price Parametric products
- Create Moody’s (ex RMS) ELT output for Group wide Reporting output for Complex Risks
- Collate complex accounts for monthly roll up process and monitoring of Risk appetites
- Provide data to underwriters to assist in pricing and portfolio optimisation
- Assist in the reporting for external stakeholders and regulatory reporting such as Lloyd’s Realistic Disaster Scenario Returns
- Presentation of data to underwriters and management in an easily digestible format
- Assist with ad hoc data requests
- Maintain all process documentation
- Interact with underwriting support functions, including data management, pricing, capital modelling, ceded reinsurance, claims, risk management and compliance.
- Provide SQL reporting assistance
- Provide skilled expertise on Complex modelling accounts to train Catastrophe Modellers.

Education and Qualifications
- Educated to ‘A’ Level or equivalent
- Graduate with a degree from any discipline
- Minimum 5 years Moody’s RMS or equivalent cat model experience

Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual’s location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.
