Job Summary
Manage Beazley’s strategic broker partnerships within the London wholesale market, championing Beazley as a leading specialty insurer and supporting underwriting teams in their distribution and growth strategies.
Drive profitable growth through structured, data-led broker engagement and joint strategic planning with key partner brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Broker Relationship Management
- Act as the primary relationship lead for a defined portfolio of priority wholesale brokers (SPA and Growth).
- Ensure Beazley is consistently front of mind through structured, proactive engagement.
- Develop and deliver clear broker plans with defined objectives, actions, ownership and tracking.
- Lead regular strategic discussions with brokers aligned to underwriting priorities and growth areas.
- Identify and progress opportunities to increase share of wallet
- Use broker feedback and survey insights to challenge and improve service, access and positioning.
- Represent broker perspectives internally to inform prioritisation and decision-making.
- Business Development & Distribution
- Work closely with underwriting teams to align broker focus with growth priorities and risk appetite.
- Drive new business through active pipeline management and targeted broker engagement.
- Support cross-sell initiatives across classes, ensuring opportunities are visible, owned and progressed.
- Contribute to panel and RFP activity, ensuring coordinated, high-quality, and competitive responses aligned with governance requirements.
- Support delivery of targeted broker events aligned to relationship priorities and growth objectives.
- Data, Insight & Performance Management
- Monitor broker performance, identifying trends, gaps and opportunities for action.
- Use data to prioritise effort and focus on highest-value relationships and opportunities.
- Track delivery against broker plans, ensuring actions are progressed and followed through.
- Establish clear performance measures (e. g. growth, pipeline, cross-sell activity, engagement quality).
- Provide concise, regular updates on performance, pipeline and key issues to senior stakeholders.
- Support Distribution Leadership by preparing high-quality executive and committee reports, providing data analysis and actionable insights.
