The Learning and Development (L&D) team specialises in company-wide L&D initiatives, including programmes to develop core skills, managerial capabilities, mandatory/regulatory learning, talent, and future-skill building. The L&D Specialist role focuses on the full learning cycle and will support learning at global, team, and individual levels. As the first point of contact for all learning needs in the region, you will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to problem solve and propose engaging learning solutions. Being data and measurement focused and digitally savvy is critical as the business continues to grow, so we can drive automation and efficiency, whilst still delivering impactful learning which supports colleagues with their career development.
Areas of focus include:
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the first point of contact for all learning requests in your region, supporting people managers and partnering with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver an impactful, quality and business-aligned service. In partnership with People Business Partners and business leaders, collaborate to understand business needs and, where appropriate, provide learning support and solutions that drive business performance.
- Future Skills Academy: Be the key partner for internal stakeholders, sponsors and external vendors to review programmes which were developed and piloted during 2025 and create and implement the right solution for the next iteration.
- Learning Design: Create engaging content, utilising tools, technology, external and internal expertise, as well as your own innovation and creativity. Support the digital transformation of our learning offering by building scalable, engaging globally oriented, blended solutions.
- Learning Delivery: Facilitate blended hybrid learning across a range of topics, including personal effectiveness skills, technical skills, internal processes, and systems.
- Management and Leadership Development: Support and upskill managers, engaging with colleagues across People & Sustainability to understand the latest challenges and provide relevant learning solutions.
- Data and Insights: Ensure that all learning activities are commercially focussed, appropriately measured, evaluated and continuously improved to demonstrate impact and Return on Investment. Use data to inform decision making.
Personal specification:
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills to act as the first point of contact for learning requests, partner with key stakeholders and communicate learning.
- Creativity and Innovation: Ability to create engaging content using creative tools and technology, and support the digital transformation of learning offerings.
- Facilitation and Delivery: Strong facilitation skills to deliver training in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in gathering and analysing data to inform decisions and demonstrate the impact of learning programmes.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of learning solutions.
