The DWF Insurance/Reinsurance London Market/Global Risks team is currently hiring an ambitious Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor (3-10 years PQE) with excellent technical and interpersonal skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be based in our London office, but we can also consider candidates from any DWF location, as attendance at a DWF office will be required.
Responsibilities
- This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a young and exciting team during a period of growth and gain exposure to a wide range of complex insurance claims, both international and domestic.
- The work is diverse, involving claims across various insurance/reinsurance policy types, including Specialty, Financial Lines, and Directors & Officers (D&O).
- The responsibilities include advising on all stages of the claims cycle, from policy coverage to litigating or arbitrating disputes and pursuing subrogated recoveries.
- Our work spans multiple jurisdictions, and our team is an integral part of our global network.
- Our client list is prestigious and expanding, including London Market and major household-name insurers, as well as esteemed corporate clients, either through insurance work or directly.

Essential
- Qualified solicitor or similar qualification, with experience in areas such as Specialty, Financial Lines, or Directors & Officers (D&O).
- An ambitious lawyer with excellent technical and interpersonal skills, eager to work in a growing and dynamic team.
- Experience in advising on all stages of the claims cycle, including policy coverage, litigation/arbitration, and subrogated recoveries.
