Our Tax team is seeking a Tax Adviser (Compliance) to play a pivotal role in our continued success. You will be assisting managers and directors to provide taxation advice to clients, while supporting your teams in the delivery of their work and ensuring that operational objectives are met. You will ensure compliance and quality standards are always maintained, client needs are identified, providing proactive support and advice, adhering to our client care programme and ensuring client relationships are within our legislative framework, compliance and quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering all elements of a tax project, tax advice with supervision (review) by your manager or director
- Training assistant team members, including regularly reviewing their work to ensure that client requirements are actioned
- Managing your workflow and client expectations, using your specialist knowledge and skills to add value
- Developing working relationships with clients and assisting in all aspects of the company’s relationships with them to maximise yield and performance
- Identifying areas of risk and viable opportunities for both current clients and potential clients
- Where appropriate, initiating and taking an active role in business development by promoting our full range of services to clients (cross-selling)
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- You will be ACA, ACCA, or CTA, or ATT qualified with a minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience, or hands-on experience.
- UK Tax experience is mandatory, we will up-skill you to become more of an expert in Tax advisory.
- Interpersonal and people management
- Organised with good time and budget management
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Self-motivated for technical knowledge and personal development
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
