We’re proudly independent of the Big 4, offering deep technical capability without the bureaucracy. You’ll have the space to lead client relationships, develop new service lines, and build something with your name attached to it.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead Client Relationships: Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, providing expert tax compliance and advisory services. Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Deliver Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive tax advice on a range of complex issues and liaise with our technical teams in areas including transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, patent box.
  • Business Development: Although not an integral part of the role, you will contribute to business development initiatives, building relationships with potential clients and collaborating with directors to expand our corporate tax offering.
  • Mentor and Develop: Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in other departments to identify tax-related opportunities and risks for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery.

What you need:

  • Proven experience as a Corporate Tax Director
  • CTA or equivalent certification with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role in Corporate Tax.
  • Skilled in business development and client management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax law and regulations.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work on multiple complex assignments.
  • Business development skills.
  • Acknowledged as a Tax expert.
