Performance Marketing/ Digital and Brand Experience Team

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday 9am-5pm)

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and data-driven SEO Coordinator to join our Performance Marketing team. The successful candidate will play an integral role supporting the execution of our organic search strategy as well as being responsible for improving and maintaining our search engine rankings; ensuring our website maintains best practice standards and we continue to drive high quality traffic to the website through organic search. This role is perfect for someone wanting to pursue a career in SEO. We are based at our head office in Lytham St Annes but our teams are currently operating a hybrid way of working which can be discussed further at interview.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will be the day to contact for our SEO agency, ensuring our search strategy aligns with KPIs and business goals.
  • You’ll support key campaigns and brand launches – like Black Friday and Valentines Day by providing keyword research, optimising content and improving metadata.
  • You will collaborate with our internal PR and content marketing teams to develop our digital PR / outreach strategies.
  • Working closely with our SEO agency and internal teams you will coordinate the implementation of technical and on page recommendations and optimisations.
  • You will be required to provide regular reporting and analysis on organic search rankings and overall performance to key stakeholders.
  • You’ll also take ownership of our local search presence (Google My Business and Bing Places), run regular audits, and deliver insights that support continuous optimisation.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years hands on organic search experience with solid knowledge on technical SEO, outreach and content SEO.
  • Good working knowledge of Google search console and Google Analytics.
  • Strong competencies in Microsoft Excel.
  • Incredibly organised and confident in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for all things digital.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Ideally educated to degree level.
  • A good understanding of eCommerce.
  • Experience assisting with or managing digital marketing campaigns in the retail sector.
  • Experience/knowledge of the full Digital Marketing channel mix including PPC, paid social, affiliates and retargeting.
