The House, charmingly reflects the guests and characters who floated amongst the rooms throughout the 1900s. The Dining Room, our Japanese Grill restaurant, offers a casually elegant dining experience, featuring a modern approach to Japanese cuisine. Offering delicately flavoured selections of sushi, sashimi, and nigiri plus the finest cuts of meat and fish from our Josper grill.

The Role

Our Assistant Restaurant Manager will lead our restaurant team to deliver an exceptional, seamless experience for our visitors throughout their food and beverage experience in The House at Beaverbrook. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, excellence, customer service and the world of food & beverage. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, this role will oversee the day to day operations of The Japanese Grill and will be responsible for our guests and employees. You will organise the operation, plan effectively, train our outstanding team and support in managing the restaurant to achieve all of its targets in sales, costs, guest service and satisfaction.

The Person

You will have good experience of working within a similar restaurant. You will thrive on delivering to high standards and have experience of successfully leading, inspiring, and motivating your team to do the same. Having the ability to develop the team on the products, menu contents, ingredients and to enhance the guest experience will be a daily focus. You will represent Beaverbrook through your presence, personal presentation and excellent communication skills, from your very first day.

Salary: Up to 36000 per annum plus Tronc

Shift Pattern: This position will consist of 45 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7. The typical shift times for this position will consist of: 06:30-15:00, 07:00-16:00, 12:00-22:00 or 15:00-01:00.
