Junior Manager – Leatherhead
The Club House is our Members & Golfers’ bolthole. A timber framed barn with a relaxed & informal atmosphere and a stunning outlook, the Club House feels more like a home away from home than a typical Club House. An informal space to relax over great wines & simple but exceptional food as golfers come off the Course.
What’s the role about?
As part of our Food and Beverage Department, you’ll be joining as our Junior Manager, responsible for developing & maintaining the highest quality, personalised communication & services for all our guests. To assist in driving the Restaurant forward by motivating and training the team and maintain a positive working environment. As Junior Manager you will receive ongoing training to prepare you for the Management Duties and behaviours
Who you are
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a similar organisation
- Food Safety and Allergen certificate is desirable but not essential
- The ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and able to work to deadline
- Attention to detail, efficient and responsible, focused on guest-satisfaction and staff well-being
What you’ll be doing
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the management of the restaurant
- Efficiently deal with guest requests, requirements and any complaints
- End-of shift duties including cleaning, complete closing procedures and checklists, handovers and reports
- To take responsibility of the running of the restaurant in absence of the Restaurant Manager
- Organising and supervising the correct set up of the restaurant
- Mentoring and Coaching junior team members
Shift Pattern
- This position will consist of 40 hours per week.
- The suitable candidate will be flexible in working any 5 days out of 7, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
- The Hours for this position will typically consist of: 07:00-16:00, 09:00-18:00 and 12:00-21:00 dependant upon the season.
Salary: Up to 28,667 per annum plus tronc and an annual members bonus
