The Golf Attendants will ensure the smooth operation of all outside golf operations. This role will promote the game of golf, the course and the Club House to our members and their visitors, ensuring excellent levels of hospitality are offered at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our Members/Guests when they arrive.
• Operate and manage the valet parking.
• Operate the bag drop and bag room.
• Set up and prepare the practice facility.
• Meet all players upon completion of their round.
• Collect, clean and replenish practice balls during quiet periods.
• Close down and pick the practice facility at the end of play every evening.
• Maintain golf cart fleet, rental sets of golf clubs, demo and club fitting equipment.
The Person:
• Polite, well-mannered, and always have a professional appearance.
• Engages well with Members and their guests.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Likes working outside in all types of weathers.
• Ideally candidates will have basic knowledge on Golf operations and i t is essential that the successful candidate holds a full UK driving license and be over the age of 21 to be covered under our insurance policy.
Please note that this is a physically demanding role and will require you to be on your feet for extended periods.
Salary: up to £26,416 per annum
Shift Pattern
- 40 hours per week with the flexibility to work any 4 days out of 7.
- During the summer, you will be required to work between 10 and 12 hour shifts depending on business demands, as this is our busiest period. In the winter, shift lengths will typically reduce to 6–8 hours.
- Annual leave during June, July, and August is limited due to various golf events, requiring a full team to provide excellent service.
