Beaverbrook, an iconic 5* luxury hotel renowned for its elegant ambiance and unparalleled guest experiences, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to lead and inspire our Food & Beverage teams across the Estate.
As the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience, ensuring that every interaction reflects Beaverbrook's luxury standards and commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for leading the Front of House Heads of Department (HODs) in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest F&B standards across a variety of outlets, including Events Operations, Restaurants & Bars, In-Room Dining, The Club House, and seasonal offerings.
This is a fully operational role that requires a hands-on presence, particularly during peak times, acting as a relief manager when required. You will lead by example, ensuring smooth service and effective team coordination to consistently deliver a memorable experience to our members and guests.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing daily operations at The House and all F&B areas, ensuring the consistent delivery of LQA standards and exceptional guest service across all outlets.
- Regularly reviewing guest feedback and performance data, taking corrective actions to enhance guest engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Working closely with F&B HODs to ensure seasonal set-ups, ambiance guidelines, and team presentation standards are adhered to, fostering a polished and seamless service experience.
- Conducting regular 1:1 coaching sessions, providing actionable feedback, and ensuring clear role responsibilities are understood and executed at the highest standard.
- Overseeing rota management, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring the team has adequate equipment and training to facilitate smooth operations.
- Collaborating with the Head Chef, Bar Manager, and Marketing to ensure menu items, cocktail lists, and promotional materials align with brand standards and deliver a cohesive, high-quality offering.

- Proven experience in leading and managing a luxury F&B operation.
- Expertise in service culture, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high LQA standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop a diverse team.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Hours: This position will consist of 40 hours per week.
