Now, we’re looking for a skilled, inspiring Nursery Manager to join our leadership team at our flagship setting in Thurmaston, Leicester. ✨ About the Role:
As Nursery Manager, you’ll work in partnership with our fantastic Practice-Based Manager to lead a high-performing, values-led nursery setting. Your role will focus on:
- Leadership & Oversight: supporting day-to-day operations and the long-term vision of the setting
- Recruiting: new team members who are aligned with our values (and bringing out the best in them from day one)
- Quality Assurance: owning and delivering our quality assurance cycle — audits, improvements, standards and all
- Safeguarding & Regulation: ensuring full adherence to EYFS, Ofsted and all statutory frameworks
- Performance & Planning: managing occupancy levels and financial targets with confidence
- Partnerships: building fantastic relationships with families, professionals and the wider community
This is a senior leadership role, but one rooted in collaboration. You’ll work alongside our Practice-Based Manager — a highly experienced teacher — to deliver excellence in both curriculum and culture.

- You’re a qualified and experienced Nursery Manager

- You’re confident in staff recruitment, supervision and appraisals
- You’ve got a strong grip on compliance, safeguarding and operational systems
- You’re organised, people-focused, and always thinking two steps ahead

Location: Based at our beautiful nursery in Thurmaston, Leicester
Salary: £39,000 – £43,000 depending on experience performance-related bonuses linked to occupancy, quality, and team development
