Now, we’re looking for a skilled, inspiring Nursery Manager to join our leadership team at our flagship setting in Thurmaston, Leicester.

✨ About the Role:

As Nursery Manager, you’ll work in partnership with our fantastic Practice-Based Manager to lead a high-performing, values-led nursery setting.

Your role will focus on:

• Leadership & Oversight: supporting day-to-day operations and the long-term vision of the setting
• Recruiting new team members who are aligned with our values (and bringing out the best in them from day one)
• Owning and delivering our quality assurance cycle — audits, improvements, standards and all
• Safeguarding & Regulation: ensuring full adherence to EYFS, Ofsted and all statutory frameworks
• Performance & Planning: managing occupancy levels and financial targets with confidence
• Partnerships: building fantastic relationships with families, professionals and the wider community

This is a senior leadership role, but one rooted in collaboration. You’ll work alongside our Practice-Based Manager — a highly experienced teacher — to deliver excellence in both curriculum and culture.

• You’re a qualified and experienced Nursery Manager
• You’ve led large teams in high-quality early years settings
• You understand what Outstanding looks like, and how to coach others to get there — and stay there
• You’re confident in staff recruitment, supervision and appraisals
• You’ve got a strong grip on compliance, safeguarding and operational systems
• You’re organised, people-focused, and always thinking two steps ahead

📍 Location:

Based at our beautiful nursery in Thurmaston, Leicester

💷 Salary:

£39,000 – £43,000 depending on experience

• performance-related bonuses linked to occupancy, quality, and team development
