The Role
In a varied and highly-visible role, the Support Engineer will provide a true support service to approximately 850 users across multiple sites in the UK, covering 2nd line desktop support, whilst also getting involved in some interesting and varied project work. My client operates a modern Microsoft environment based around core technology including Windows 10, Office 365 and Active Directory. The Support Engineer will be working 5 days onsite - predominantly in the Birmingham office - but travel to other sites will be required.

What do I need?
- Solid experience of providing 1st & 2nd line IT support
- Experience with a variety of Microsoft operating systems, ideally including Windows 10
- Experience with Active Directory β new user creation / account administration, etc., and ideally Office 365
- A basic understanding of networking, ideally including VPNs
