Beauty Works operates internationally to both salon professionals and directly to consumers and is owned by a Beauty Industry Group based in Salt Lake City and has the largest share of the hair extensions market in the world.
The Key Account Executive is a key role in our Key Accounts – Retail department. Supporting the Wholesale Manager and the Key Account Managers, the KAE will be focused on supporting brand awareness through administrative tasks to increase the split of overall department sales. The ideal candidate is someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, is motivated to learn whilst demonstrating adaptability. The role and department require a great team player with excellent social and communication skills.
Role Outline & Responsibilities
- Support Key Account Managers in the day-to-day management and smooth running of wholesale and retail partnerships.
- Manage retailer sample requests, ensuring accurate tracking and effective asset management to support launches, meetings, and promotions.
- Oversee order processing, including checking, entering, and monitoring orders within internal systems to ensure accuracy and timely fulfilment.
- Provide proactive communication of out-of-stocks or delays to internal teams and partners.
- Support the preparation and submission of new line forms, promotional documentation, and retailer-specific requirements.
- Conduct retailer site audits (online and in-store where relevant), providing feedback on execution, merchandising, and competitor activity.
- Collaborate closely with the Brand and Marketing teams to source updated imagery, assets, and content aligned with retailer needs.
- Work cross-functionally with the NPD team to support exclusive launches, bespoke initiatives, and key brand moments.
- Act as a key point of coordination between Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure effective communication and delivery.
- Own small-tier accounts, acting as primary point of contact and ensuring strong day-to-day relationships while escalating commercial opportunities to the KAM where appropriate.
