With 13 unique designs and 21 beautiful scents including our bestsellers Champagne & Roses, Raspberry, and Lavender, we bring quality handcrafted products to customers across the UK through various markets and our online store.

Role Overview

We\’re seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Market Trader to represent Beauty Scents at Greenwich Market. You\’ll be the face of our brand, sharing the story behind our handmade candles while providing excellent customer service in one of London\’s most vibrant market environments.

Key Responsibilities

Product Sales: Actively engage with customers to showcase and sell our range of handmade candles and wax melts

Customer Service: Provide knowledgeable advice about our 21 scents and product benefits

Payment Processing: Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our payment systems

Stall Setup & Breakdown: Arrive early to set up the stall display and pack down at end of trading day

Stock Management: Count and organize inventory, report stock levels

Brand Representation: Maintain professional appearance and positive brand image

Market Compliance: Follow all Greenwich Market regulations and trading standards

Essential Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Physical capability to lift and carry stock, stand for extended periods

Reliable and punctual with flexible availability for market days

Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions

Enthusiasm for handmade products and sustainable business practices
