Video Editor - Paid Social

We are Beauty Pie, the world’s first luxury beauty and wellness buyers’ club, disrupting the beauty industry. Our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie.

As a Video Editor, you will:

• Edit raw footage into professional-quality videos for paid social ads.
• Partner closely with the Paid Social Lead to align video content with brand objectives.
• Incorporate motion graphics and special effects into video projects.
• Ensure all videos adhere to technical and creative standards.
• Complete post-production for projects including grading, sound, and encoding in different formats.
• Optimise videos for different advertising channels.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines.
• Organise, archive, and label video assets for easy accessibility.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions with creative ideas for video content.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in video editing for brands; experience in beauty is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing tools.
• Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing in video editing.
• Experience with both highly-produced video and UGC-style content.
• Experience with colour grading and sound design.
• Knowledge of video compression and optimisation for web video.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills and strong creative problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Passion for storytelling, creating engaging and impactful video content.
• Animation skills desirable.
