Strategy and Project Lead

This role combines high-impact programme leadership with strategic business support, driving execution on the company’s most critical initiatives while ensuring alignment between business priorities and execution. It requires both a hands-on approach to project delivery and the ability to work closely with senior leadership on strategic direction and communication.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional, transformative, and growth-focused projects, ensuring they are executed effectively and deliver measurable impact. In addition, they will play a key role in facilitating strategy-setting discussions, supporting the Senior Leadership Team as they define and refine company strategy. Once strategic priorities are established, this person will take ownership of creating materials – such as board presentations – that enable the CEO and leadership team to communicate the strategy effectively.

So, what will you be doing?

• Own and drive the execution of high-profile, cross-functional initiatives that are crucial to the company’s success. These may include transformational projects, business expansion efforts (new markets, channels, or operational models), or other strategic priorities.
• Operate across teams and disciplines, ensuring seamless execution and removing roadblocks to progress.
• Establish structured yet flexible frameworks to manage initiatives efficiently while adapting to a fast-changing business environment.
• Facilitate strategy-setting discussions with the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring strategic priorities remain clear, actionable, and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Work alongside the Insights team to support leadership in refining and updating company strategy.
• Ensure that operational execution aligns with long-term strategic objectives, bridging the gap between planning and action.
• Be the primary co-ordinator of quarterly board meeting presentations and other high-stakes communications.
• Synthesize the different strands of complex business performance data, strategic initiatives, and market trends into clear and compelling narratives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior experience in strategy, consulting, or a similarly dynamic role.
• A versatile operator who thrives in both high-level strategic discussions and hands-on execution.
• Experienced in leading complex, cross-functional projects with measurable business impact.
• A strong communicator with the ability to craft clear, data-driven narratives for executive and external audiences.
• Adept at balancing multiple priorities, managing ambiguity, driving alignment across teams, and bringing together the SLT.

We operate on a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days in the office each week— with some roles requiring more which will be outlined in the job spec.
