Before we arrived on the scene, if you wanted really great beauty products, you had to shop at traditional beauty retail – and overpay for all the crazy markups. Now, our members have access to shop from the best-quality beauty and wellness products (from the leading labs in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, etc) and get a bigger piece of the Beauty Pie.
We\’re searching for a Quality Manager to join our fast-paced, high-growth consumer goods company. If you\’re passionate about quality excellence within the beauty, wellness, home & lifestyle sectors and thrive in a dynamic, scale-up environment, this could be the perfect role for you. Reporting into the Senior Quality Manager, you\’ll be instrumental in owning quality within your designated category, driving continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to the highest standards across our entire value chain.
So, what will you be doing?
- Quality Ownership: Own quality within your assigned product categories.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with the Senior Quality Manager to continuously improveour quality processes, actively bringing new ideas to the table and seeing them through to execution.
- Collates and analyses product quality data: Identify new issues and trends in your category. You\’ll then report and escalate appropriately, planning and leading projects to resolve those issues.
- Non-Conformance Management: Lead the non-conformance process in response to serious quality issues by investigating root causes using RCA tools
(such as Ishikawa). Ensure appropriate CAPAs are implemented. - Stakeholder Management: Ensure CAPA actions are clearly communicated and effectively managed with all relevant stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and up to C-level leadership, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the process, with the support of the Senior Quality Manager.
- Conduct internal audits and effectively hold individuals and teams accountable for quality standards.
Quality Training, SOP Development & Process Mapping
- Mapping processes across the value chain (from Supplier to Member) to identify risks, inefficiencies, or misalignments that could impact product quality or Member experience.
- Training cross-functional teams on quality processes and our Member Happiness team and how to manage quality-related contacts correctly, ensuring every team understands their role in quality and has access to clear, accurate documentation.
- Creating and maintaining SOPs to ensure consistency, compliance and clarity in how quality-related activities are carried out.
- Audit: Carry out scoping audits for third party manufacturers and packaging suppliers and ensure this is documented appropriately.
- Supplier Quality: Ensure strategic suppliers are informed of Beauty Pie’s Quality Management Standards and roles and responsibilities are clearly aligned.

- Priorexperience in a quality leadership role (manager level), with over 6 years of total experience in quality assurance/control, within a relevant industry. You should possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end value chain (from product development, supplier, warehousing to customer) and quality\’s crucial role within it.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth consumer goods environment, ideally within a scale-up.
- A preference for experience within beauty, wellness, home & lifestyle product categories.
- Solid knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, or similar industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience with both internal and external audits.
- A good understanding of 3rd party manufacturer environments, including their processes, challenges and best practices for quality assurance and control.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Google Sheets/Excel.
- A background in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
- You are proactive, confident, a clear communicator, a self-starter, problem-solver, diligent and pragmatic in your approach to quality.
