We're looking for a skilled and passionate nail technician and beauty therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong, demonstrable background in nail services, particularly BIAB, gel nails and nail art, alongside a solid all-round beauty skill set and a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the following treatments confidently and to a high professional standard:
- BIAB
- Gel nails
- Nail extensions
- Nail art
- Experience with lash and brow treatments is desirable but not essential.
- Tailor each treatment to individual client needs, offering personalised advice and product recommendations.
- Create a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment so every client feels valued and at ease.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene standards, keeping tools sanitised and work areas fully stocked at all times.
- Stay current with nail trends, techniques and product innovations.
- Communicate clearly with clients, explaining treatments, addressing questions and handling any concerns with professionalism and care.
- Proactively suggest additional services or retail products that complement and enhance client results.
Qualifications & Experience (Essential Requirements):
- Fully qualified Beauty Therapist or qualified Nail Technician with recognised professional certifications.
- At least two years of proven, hands-on salon experience delivering treatments to paying clients.
- Confident and highly skilled in BIAB, gel nails, acrylic nails and nail art. A strong portfolio or evidence of previous work is advantageous.
- Well-rounded ability across general beauty treatments including manicures, pedicures and massage.
- Based locally with reliable transport to and from Highcliffe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, friendly and client-focused manner.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
