We create standout work across digital and print, supporting key commercial priorities and bringing new launches to life through strong, on-brand creative.

As a Midweight Designer, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, ideas-driven environment, working across a variety of creative outputs from product launches and campaign rollouts to packaging, digital and social. You’ll collaborate closely with the NPD, Studio, Social, Influencer, Trade and Buying teams to bring the BEAUTY BAY brand to life across static, animated and printed formats.

This is a great opportunity for a confident mid-weight designer with strong digital design experience and a good understanding of packaging and print to take ownership of projects from brief through to delivery. Bringing fresh ideas, great attention to detail and a commercial mindset.

  • Design and develop BEAUTY BAY own-brand packaging, taking projects from initial concepts through to print-ready artwork across primary and secondary packaging.
  • Apply and develop established design systems across product ranges, ensuring consistency while keeping packaging fresh, trend-led and commercially relevant.
  • Support the review of packaging samples, checking colour, finishes, artwork and overall design quality.
  • Work closely with the NPD team to bring new product concepts to life, balancing creativity with production requirements, commercial considerations and timelines.
  • Build your knowledge of packaging production, materials, finishes and print processes, applying best practice across projects.

Digital & Campaign Creative

  • Design and deliver creative across site, app, email, paid and organic social, producing engaging, trend-led assets that feel fresh, elevated and commercially impactful.
  • Contribute ideas to campaigns, developing creative from initial concepts and moodboards through to final execution and rollout across multiple channels.
  • Work within and contribute to seasonal style guides, templates and creative toolkits, helping maintain brand consistency across channels.
  • Create considered, polished design work with strong attention to typography, layout, colour, composition and imagery.
  • Where appropriate, support the creation of simple motion and animated assets for digital channels.
  • Work closely with the Senior Creative & Design Manager and wider Creative team to interpret briefs, develop ideas and deliver high-quality creative at pace.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from brief through to delivery, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Confidently present and explain design ideas to internal stakeholders, responding constructively to feedback and developing creative accordingly.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to understand commercial objectives and translate them into effective creative solutions.
  • Contribute to the wider Creative team by sharing ideas, references and knowledge, and supporting junior team members where appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree or similar qualification in Graphic Design or a related creative field, or equivalent industry experience supported by a strong portfolio which you can share as part of your application.
  • Experience in a graphic design role within an in-house creative team or agency, ideally within beauty, fashion, lifestyle or retail.
  • Packaging design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating both creative concept development and artwork-ready delivery.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. After Effects or other motion design skills would be a strong bonus.
  • Confidence working across both digital and print, with a strong eye for typography, layout, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, respond to changing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to own projects while being open to creative direction and feedback.
  • A genuine interest in beauty, design, culture and emerging creative trends, with an eye for what feels current and relevant to the BEAUTY BAY customer.
