A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Merchandiser to join our dynamic, diverse & forward thinking Merchandising Team based at BEAUTY BAY HQ in Exchange Quay. As part of our Merchandising Team, you will be excited by the opportunity to play your part in bringing BEAUTY BAY products from concept to actual repeatable sales using your forecasting, planning and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the NPD, Merchandising, Marketing & Trading Teams to implement a clear position in the market.
- A solid understanding of longer lead critical path management to minimise risks to launch plans and maintain high stock availability.
- Manage stock to achieve plan, whilst supporting operational efficiency with clear management of the critical path to maximise sales & reduce terminal stock.
- WSSI management, ensuring sales are maximised and markdown costs are reduced.
- Develop promotional events in conjunction with marketing & markdown plans to deliver strategy & KPI’s.
- Analyse, interpret & present recommendations based on MI/market insight to SLT.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage launch of new products & limited edition collections.
- Assortment planning to establish a clear option/buy quantity plan to maximise sales & profit.
- Undertake season lessons learnt analysis & strategic pre-season planning.
- Coach & develop junior team members to successfully optimise category sales & margin whilst minimising stock risk.
About you:
- Ability to cross collaborate with stakeholders across BEAUTY BAY.
- A minimum of 6 years previous experience within Merchandising, with previous online experience.
- Extensive Stock Management experience is essential.
- WSSI experience essential.
- Strong knowledge & understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Critical path management experience.
- Excellent analytical & numerical skills.
- Ability to communicate both written & verbal.
- Previous experience working within Online/E-Commerce Retail is desirable.
- Confident to ensure you can influence stakeholders.
- Managing a team will also be something you enjoy, and you will have previous experience coaching and developing more junior team members.
