A brand new opportunity has opened up at Beauty Bay for a Junior Trade Executive to join our E-commerce Trading Team. The trading team are responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all on-site content and promotional activities, from brand and product launches to trading and brand campaigns. Our team also manages product listings, category organization, and visual merchandising to enhance the online shopping experience. We continuously analyse on-site performance, identify trends, and explore opportunities for improvement. Collaborating closely with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams, we strive to maximize online sales and deliver a seamless, engaging customer journey.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the Trading Managers on the planning and execution of the localised trading plan/calendar
- Responsible for website and app performance reporting
- Responsible for BEAUTY BAY website content maintenance and optimisation
- Responsible for visual merchandising strategy and execution
- Responsible for campaign planning and on-site execution
- Responsible for new brands and product launches onsite execution
- Responsible for seeking out new opportunities and identifying innovative ways to drive sales
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a Digital/Trading environment is essential
- Previous experience in website maintenance and optimisation is essential
- Numerical & Analytical – previous experience in performance reporting is beneficial
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal
- Ability to establish & maintain internal & external colleague relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a wider team
- Willingness to go above & beyond when necessary to achieve team/business objectives
