Job Description

The BEAUTY BAY creative team is an integrated, dynamic function that delivers exceptional digital assets and printed materials to our diverse customer base. We work closely with key teams including Brand, Marketing, Trade, and Product Development, ensuring the successful execution of product launches, campaigns, and marketing strategies.

We are looking for a Creative Executive who is passionate about creating engaging, disruptive and compelling campaigns that translate across our social media platforms and that resonate with our beauty-obsessed, Gen-Z audience.

This is a hands-on creative/production role and your day to day will involve creative ideation and concepting, working with photographers, videographers & graphics designers to bring campaigns to life, working alongside the social team to ensure all campaigns are social first, delivering end to end social first campaigns

Key responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and ideate creative, engaging, and disruptive campaigns that resonate with the brand's beauty-obsessed Gen-Z audience.
  • Work with the Creative Campaign Manager to brainstorm ideas, themes, and visuals that align with the brand’s voice and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand, Marketing, and Product Development teams to ensure the campaigns supports and enhances product launches, brand campaigns, and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current beauty trends, pop culture, and social media trends, leveraging this knowledge to create campaigns that resonates with our audience.
  • Craft compelling visual stories that speak to our Gen-Z customer, domestically and internationally, across beauty categories like make-up, skincare, haircare, and wellness.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all campaigns, ensuring alignment with BEAUTY BAY’s brand identity
  • Develop innovative and engaging campaigns optimised for social media platforms specifically Instagram & TikTok.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a similar Creative role is essential (minimum one years experience)
  • Previous experience working on set with photographers, videographers, stylists etc. is essential.
  • Retail/E-Commerce experience his highly desirable however not essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider creative & brand team.
  • Experience working within the Beauty/Cosmetics industries advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of videos & stills productions
  • Experience with creating content, specifically for TikTok is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
