JOB PURPOSE To undertake the preparation, set up, service and clearing of venue décor services.
HOURS OF WORK Saturday every week, alternating Thu/Sun and every week - total 2x shifts per week.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must hold a valid UK Drivers License.
- Set up weddings and other events to company standards (ESUS).
- Ensure stock is prepared, packed, used and stored to company standards.
- Ensure all items required are either in stock or ordered.
- Ensure all deliveries are checked and recorded.
- Condition fresh flower delivery and prepare floral arrangements in advance or on location.
- Prepare stock for all events to company standards ahead of event date.
- Communicate to team members what laundry should be prioritized.
- Ensure event set ups are delivered as per client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records on event sheets, stock database, financial records and during laundry and stock preparation process.
- Deal with client enquiries on a face to face basis or over the telephone.
- Send and follow up accurate quotations following enquiries.
- Carry out cleaning/ironing process for linen and other stock.
- Maintain client relationships when working on location.
- Maximise all opportunities for sales either on location or through networking.
- Be conversant with the Beautifully Covered brand and personality traits associated with the brand.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Gain great product knowledge of all items on offer for hire.
- Work according to company Health and Safety and Fire Risk Assessment Guidelines.
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by Team Leader/Director.
