Remote role with travel to clients across the UK & Ireland. Ideally you will be in the Midlands/South UK areas, but other locations will be considered. They supply world leading process and flow control equipment to the oil & gas, energy and power industries too. They can provide exceptional technical expertise and engineering solutions through an unrivalled and diverse range of valves, actuators, pumps, heat exchangers, ultra filtration and other process and control instrumentation. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, the Product Specialist – Life Sciences will take full ownership for seeking out new sales opportunities for our clients leading range of single use products. You will be the subject matter expert for blue chip Pharmaceutical, Biopharma & Biotech accounts across the UK & Ireland who rely on our client’s high quality single use solutions to support their critical Bioprocessing/Bioproduction work. You will manage the full sales cycle and be the face of the company at all industry events, conferences and client meetings. You will apply an adaptable approach to ensure that you develop and maintain relationships with all customers to ensure optimum customer satisfaction & solution providing. This is an amazing opportunity for an existing Product Specialist, Account Manager, Sales Representative or equivalent with a proven track record selling single use bioprocessing consumables and/or equipment such as Bioprocessing bags, containers, tubing, products for Upstream Bioprocessing/Bioproduction to customers in the Pharma/Biopharma & Biotech sectors. You could have experience selling Bioprocessing Bags, Containers, Custom Plastics, Filters, Tubing, Single Use Assemblies or similar single use Bioprocessing products. You will be a sales hunter who excels at closing the full sales cycle from lead identification / generation, winning the business, to after-sales support. A degree or equivalent in the life sciences is desirable in areas such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or similar.
